Christmas Gift Appeal 2026

Give a gift. Make a lasting memory.

For some families, Christmas can be a struggle. The Burnley Together Christmas Gift Appeal is helping make sure every child has something to unwrap and a Christmas memory to treasure.

You can help by donating a new, unwrapped Christmas gift for a child or teenager aged 0 to 18.

Remember how you felt when you unwrapped your favourite Christmas present. Now’s your chance to spread the magic this Christmas.

How you can help

  • Choose a new, unwrapped gift for a child or teenager aged 0 to 18.
  • Take your gift to one of our collection points by 4 December 2026.
  • Donate one gift or several. Every gift can help make Christmas special for a child.

Every child is unique, so all types of gifts are welcome. Think about a child or teenager you know. What would make them smile on Christmas morning?

A few things to remember:

Please make sure all gifts are new and unwrapped and suitable for children and young people aged 0 to 18.

If you’re unsure what to buy, think about a child or teenager you know and what would make them smile on Christmas morning.

Where to donate

Take your gift to your nearest Burnley Together Christmas Gift Appeal collection point by 4 December 2026.

Take your donation to a Burnley Together Christmas Gift Appeal collection point. These will be available at workplaces and businesses across Burnley, or you can donate at Down Town, Charter Walk Shopping Centre (above New Look).

Keep an eye out we will be adding collection points soon.

Help spread the word

You can also help by telling your friends, family, colleagues and customers about the Christmas Gift Appeal.

The more people who know about the appeal, the more children we can help make Christmas special for.

What happens to your gifts?

Every gift donated to the Christmas Gift Appeal will help make Christmas special for a child or teenager in Burnley.

Schools and organisations identify families who would benefit from support at Christmas. They then come and choose gifts that are suited to each child or young person.

This means your gift can help a local child have something special to open on Christmas morning and create a happy memory that can last a lifetime.
